This is a blog designed to plot out a middle path between an overly conservative or overly liberal direction in the matters of religion. One that fully respects the traditional doctrines of religion, yet also promotes a healthy development in our understanding of those doctrines. It is also one that promotes a moderation in life’s pleasures, rather than a puritanism on the one hand, or a hedonism on the other.

The blog’s main focus is on the Christian religion, but some of the points covered apply more generally to people of all religions and philosophies. Just as with the Incarnation of the Logos, a manger was needed because the inn was full; so too, the inn of the major news outlets was full, and the use of the humbler circumstances of the free blogging sphere was needed to get the message across.
